My Journey with Hello7 Coaching Transformed My Bookkeeping Practice
The Beginning:
My journey with Hello7 Growth Coaching started in the summer of 2022. I was at a pivotal point in my business journey. My bookkeeping practice, Fisher Bookkeeping, was steadily generating around $350,000 in annual revenue, making it a solid Hello5. I was maintaining break-even profitability, paying myself a fair living, and slowly building wealth. But I knew I wanted more.
In 2019, I began implementing the Profit First methodology to fine-tune my business’s financial health and profitability. It was a game-changer. Profit increased and I was able to provide substantial raises to my team (including myself) and get my business on the right financial track. It was a vital step, but the pursuit of substantial growth seemed elusive. I couldn’t seem to break past the plateau. I’d gain a few clients, then lose some, leaving my business roughly the same size year after year.
The Next Phase:
In 2022, I felt ready to take on growth once again. This time, I decided to jump into the Hello7 Growth Scale course, a decision that would ultimately transform the trajectory of my business. I opted for the DIY program, as the course was available as a standalone option within the Hello7 club.
The results were nothing short of incredible. By the end of 2022, I had propelled my business to the lower end of Hello6, with over $500,000 in sales on a cash basis. What’s even more astounding is that, thanks to the continued application of the Profit First principles, my business remained highly profitable, even after granting substantial raises to my team (including myself).
Expanding Horizons:
As the calendar turned to 2023, the growth was far from slowing down. The highest revenue months of 2022 had become the new baseline for 2023. I was on track to hit over $1,000,000 in annual sales. Encouraged by the remarkable results, I decided to take my commitment to growth a step further. I expanded my team following the strategies I’d learned from the Growth Scale, signed up to become a certified Hello7 coach, and handed my own coach the materials suitable for my level, asking her to hold me accountable to achieve even more significant results.
I’m thrilled and proud to have built Fisher Bookkeeping using the Hello7 method. The journey that has allowed me to transition from a Hello5 business to a Hello6 and beyond. Now, I’m passionate about sharing this knowledge and helping other bookkeeping firms achieve similar success, transforming their businesses into vehicles for freedom and wealth.
