Pine State Biscuits: Reflecting on Month One

Pine State Biscuits

Here’s how we jumped in during the first month to help Pine State get a better handle on their financial picture.

Pine State Biscuits is a Portland favorite that has gone from a humble stand at the Portland Farmer’s Market to 3 brick and mortar locations with lines around the block each weekend.

The Pine State owners were excited to utilize Fisher’s experience providing consistent financial information and negotiating with potential investors.

During the first week of working together, Fisher consultants dove into the job by running payroll and instituting daily entry of sales and expenses. We worked closely with the owners to get insights into their processes and previous methods.

During the first month Brian, Walt, and Kevin received a glimpse at what their new financials would look like. They were able to get questions answered, and see new information about their overall financial picture. . While there can be some growing pains in this process, the first month is also a time of support and relationship building.

Working with Fisher has been a great decision. We are always kept informed, and feel like we are really being heard. Having someone in our location, working with our staff and our needs has been incredibly helpful. The team is really responsive, and I love that there is a team behind our consultant.
